Max Busta is a firebrand community organizer, veteran advocate, and lifelong Democrat committed to expanding opportunity for every American. Born and raised in Miami, Florida, Max learned the value of public service from a family of educators and small-business owners who ran a corner store in Little Havana.
After earning a degree in Political Science from Florida State University — go Noles! — Max spent over a decade working in Tallahassee and Washington, D.C., advocating for affordable healthcare, veterans' benefits, and voting rights across the Sunshine State. Max was an early supporter of the Biden-Harris ticket and proudly helped deliver Florida's grassroots energy in 2020.
When President Biden signed the American Rescue Plan and the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, Max was on the ground in Miami making sure Floridians knew what was at stake — and what was won. When Vice President Harris cast that historic tie-breaking vote for the Inflation Reduction Act, Max organized the biggest watch party south of Tallahassee.
Today, Max is back home in Florida, traveling coast to coast mobilizing grassroots campaigns and training the next generation of democratic leaders. Because patriotism means more than waving a flag — it means rolling up your sleeves and fighting for the ideals that make this country worth defending: liberty, justice, and equality under the Florida sun. 🌴

Led a 50+ county effort to end partisan gerrymandering, contributing to the passage of Florida's landmark anti-gerrymandering amendment.
Led the South Florida coalition effort for the Biden-Harris campaign, organizing 500+ events across Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach. Helped deliver the Biden-Harris ticket to victory and proved that Florida Democrats show UP.
